Story Behind It . . .
Ethan had managed to sneak into Charlie's manor once again. He tip-toed through the hallways. When he came to the ballroom, the darkened ballroom, with nothing but the glow of the moon lighting the room he heard a beautiful sound. He peered in and saw Charlie at a gorgeous white cello, all dressed up.

"What is she . . . "

"I suggest you don't bother her," an elderly maid appeared behind him, "she does this every once in a while. It'd be best not to disturb her."

"She never told me she played . . . " He felt a bit sad. The maid smiled reassuringly.

"The Mistress has never had many friends. I've been with her since birth and she's never been comfortable with people throughout her childhood. She was always alone, no matter how many people were in the room or no matter how many people were talking to her. You're one of the first people she's warmed up to."

His sadness dissolved away, he was flattered. The maid continued on.

"When she first started playing, she'd hold tiny concerts, for her mother alone. They'd wait until night, open a window, and Charlie would play until she couldn't play any longer. She's continued this even after her mother's death . . . But when she plays, it seems like she's telling a story, her story. When she plays it's so moving and captivating. Her world opens up and she becomes a whole different person. When she plays . . . "

Ethan peered into the ballroom, his eyes softening at the sight of Charlie. She looked so serene, so beauitful.

" . . . it reminds me why I love her," he mumbled to himself with a smile.
